Pennal Show

Pennal Show attracts hundreds of visitors over the August Bank Holiday weekend.

This classsic agricultural show includes a range of classes from crafts to poultry, sheep to flowers and takes place in the Village Hall and nearby fields courtesy of Partneriaeth Pennal landowners.

There is fun for all ages with sports events and a range of stalls including family games.

The event includes a fiercely-competed sheep shearing competition as well as various demonstration events.

The show takes place thanks to the hard work of a team of stalwart volunteers and the goodwill of local businesses. Do visit Pennal to experience this heritage event.

Community Walk

The Pennal Community Walk is becoming a regular annual event.

The Walk raises funds for the village school and is held with support of the local landowners of Partneriaeth Pennal.

Around 100 people take part and stroll across the fantastic landscape enjoying the company and the views with  regular stops for refreshments.

At the last event, Pennal 2050 asked a local ecologist to join in, working with children and their families to identify birds and insects during the walk. The project provided colourful butterfly nets and pots so insects could be captured for a few moments and studied while the ecologist identified them and explained about their lives and importance to the biodiversity of this unique part of Wales.
