TOURISM providers in the Pennal area and members of linked groups joined a workshop hosted by Macdonald Plas Talgarth Resort . It was run by Partneriaeth Pennal to invite views on a tourism destination focus to support local jobs and the economy. Since the meeting, Partneriaeth Pennal has acted to start developing a Croeso Pennal/Visit Pennal website. It is also liaising with Wales Coast Path staff, Snowdonia National Park, Gwynedd County Council and Natural Resources Wales on footpaths and reducing flood risk. A tourism funding bid was derailed by Covid when VisitWales switched funds to emergency support for businesses in the sector.
